In January–November 2025, Russian Railways transported 6.911 million loaded and empty TEU containers across its network in all types of communications. This is 3.9% less than in the same period of 2024. This is reported on the Russian Railways website.
Domestic shipments decreased by 3.8% to 2,718 million, while export shipments increased by 8.9% to 1,633 million TEU.
The number of loaded containers shipped in all types of transport amounted to 4.92 million TEU. This is 6.7% less than in the same period last year. 73.1 million tons of cargo were transported there, which is 3.1% less than in the first 11 months of 2024.
