Domodedovo passenger traffic in April 2023 increased by 32% to 1.6 million compared to a year earlier. The number of flights increased by 24% and amounted to more than 10 thousand take-off and landing operations. This was reported by the press service of the airport.
Passenger traffic on domestic air lines increased by 19% to more than 1 ml. The largest increase in passenger traffic was recorded in the following domestic destinations: Sochi, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk. The number of travelers to these cities amounted to 366 thousand people, which is 36% higher than in the same period of 2022.
Passenger traffic in the segment of international air lines increased by 62% to 528 thousand. The most popular destinations were Dubai, Antalya, Tashkent, Sharjah and Osh.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport named after M.V. Lomonosov is one of the largest air harbors in Russia. In 2022, passenger traffic amounted to 21.2 million people.
