Equinor's exit from the Kharyaga project has been completed. After leaving Haryaga, Equinor has no assets and projects left in Russia. This is stated in the company's message.

At the end of May 2022, Equinor announced the withdrawal from four joint ventures with Rosneft, as well as the signing of an agreement to withdraw from the Kharyaga project.

At the end of July 2022, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to transfer to Zarubezhneft a 30% stake in Equinor (formerly Statoil) and a 20% stake in TotalEnergies in the Kharyaginsky field.

The Kharyaginsky field project is being implemented under the terms of a production sharing agreement. The volume of production at the field in 2021 reached 1.56 million tons of oil.
