In 2024, the EU exported 42.8 billion euros worth of goods to Ukraine, and imported 24.5 billion euros worth of goods. Exports increased by 9.4% and imports by 7% compared to 2023. This was announced by Eurostat.
The main exports were mineral fuels (6.8 billion euros), electrical engineering (4.3 billion euros) and mechanical engineering (4.2 billion euros).
The key commodity groups imported from Ukraine in 2024 included agricultural products such as cereals (worth 4.4 billion euros), animal or vegetable fats and oils (3.1 billion euros), and oilseeds and related products (2.5 billion euros).
