The Federal Antimonopoly Service issued a warning to Google LLC, which must comply with the warning within a month. In case of its non-fulfillment, the agency has the right to initiate a case on violation of antimonopoly legislation, the FAS said in a statement.

The agency found that Google LLC, which owns and operates the Google Play app store, obliged developers distributing paid applications through the platform to use exclusively the Google payment system.

The ban on the use of third-party payment systems is fixed in the Rules of the Google Play Developer Program. In case of their violation, the application can be removed from the site or the possibility of updating it is blocked.

The actions of Google LLC contain signs of abuse of a dominant position, in connection with which the FAS issued a warning to the company.
