FESCO has sent the first container train from Vladivostok to Kazan with cargo from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region

FESCO, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, has sent the first container train from Vladivostok to Kazan with cargo from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region as part of the new FESCO Kazan Shuttle service. This is stated in the company's message.

Container trains will depart to Tikhoretskaya station in Kazan twice a month. The travel time will be eleven days. The basis of the cargo flow of the new service will be formed by cargo of a wide range – from consumer goods to various electronics.

FESCO Kazan Shuttle is to become a new link in the Asia-Russia intermodal transportation chain connecting the Group's regular sea lines with the Russian railway network.

FESCO Transport Group is one of the largest private transport and logistics companies in Russia with assets in the field of port, railway and integrated logistics business. FESCO's diversified portfolio of assets allows for door-to-door cargo delivery and control of all stages of the intermodal transport chain. The Group owns Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port, railway operators Transgarant and Dalreftrans, operator of fitting platforms Russian Troika, dry terminal complexes in Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk and Tomsk. The group manages about 9 thousand fitting platforms, the container fleet is more than 100 thousand TEU. The FESCO fleet includes 21 transport vessels, which mainly carry out transportation on their own sea lines.

FESCO's net profit under IFRS in the first half of 2022 amounted to 14.47 billion rubles, which is 25% more than a year earlier. Revenue increased by 75.7% to 84.35 billion rubles, EBITDA increased by more than 2 times to 38 billion rubles.
