Gasoline prices in Russia increased by 1.6% during the week from June 23 to June 29. Such data is provided by Rosstat.
Price increases were recorded in 82 regions of the Russian Federation, most of all in Sevastopol — by 30%.
A decrease in prices was recorded in the Moscow region — by 1.6% and Moscow — by 0.7%.
In St. Petersburg, the price increase was 0.2%.
At the observed gas stations in Moscow, AI-92 gasoline could be purchased at prices ranging from 62.99 to 88.90 rubles, AI-95 gasoline from 68.99 to 97.90 rubles, AI-98 gasoline and higher from 94.28 to 99.98 rubles per liter.
In St. Petersburg, AI-92 gasoline cost from 64.14 to 65.54 rubles, AI-95 gasoline — from 68.87 to 72.36 rubles, AI-98 gasoline and higher — from 97.22 to 99.84 rubles per liter.
Diesel fuel on average in the country rose in price by 2.2% to 84.84 rubles per liter.
Rosstat monitors prices in more than 1.8 thousand gas stations located in 280 surveyed cities of the Russian Federation on a weekly basis.
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that gasoline reserves amount to 1.7 million tons, which is almost the same as in the same period of 2025. At the same time, there is a slight decrease of 4%.
The President added that, in the interests of domestic consumers, a complete ban on the export of gasoline and jet fuel has been temporarily introduced. The necessity of introducing a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel is being considered.
Earlier, the Federal Antimonopoly Service reported that it interacts with digital platforms to prevent speculative resale of fuel. For example, Ozon and Wildberries have banned the publication of advertisements for the sale of fuel for cars. Avito does not publish fuel trading announcements at the time of finalizing the rules in this category.
