Gazprom Group's net profit under IFRS increased 2.6 times in the first half of the year

The net profit of Gazprom Group according to IFRS for the first half of 2022 amounted to 2.5 trillion rubles, which is not only 2.6 times higher than the figure for the first half of 2021, but also more than the total profit of Gazprom Group for the previous two calendar years. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the Gazprom Management Board, Famil Sadygov, the company reports.

The Group's EBITDA amounted to 3.05 trillion rubles, which is more than 2 times higher than the value of the first half of 2021 and is a new historical record. This result was achieved not only due to high prices, but also a strict approach to controlled operating costs, said F.Sadygov.

Net revenue from the sale of crude oil and gas condensate increased by 81% to 882.15 billion rubles.
