The Tom-Usinskaya GRES of JSC Kuzbassenergo is located in the south of the Kemerovo region, in the Prytomsky district of the city of Mysky and is used to cover the basic loads of the Kuzbass power system and heat generation. The power plant includes nine power units with a total installed capacity of 1345.4 MW.

PJSC Kuzbassenergosbyt was created as a result of the reorganization of Kuzbassenergo in the form of a separation and was registered as an independent legal entity on July 1, 2006. Acting as the legal successor of Kuzbassenergo under all power supply contracts, Kuzbassenergosbyt is currently the largest power supply company in the Kemerovo Region.
