The Moscow government has released a report on the sustainable development of the city in 2024. It reflects the main results and achievements in the field of sustainable development of the capital, the city's position in Russian and international sustainability ratings, as well as other indicators.
The tasks related to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals are implemented within the framework of each of the 13 state programs of the Moscow Government.
The capital ranks first in the 21st Russian Sustainable Development ranking and first in the ranking of the human potential of cities, compiled by a working group of seven universities around the world. Also, for two years in a row, Moscow's projects have won and won prizes in the International Climate Competition "Green Eurasia".
In addition, last year the Moscow Government presented analytical studies on the sustainable urban development of large cities in Russia and BRICS. The series of analytical reports "The Climate Agenda of cities" was also continued.
