1.4 million tons of vegetables have been harvested in Russia. Since the beginning of the year, 975.3 thousand tons have been grown in winter greenhouses, which is 6.3% more than a year earlier. Including the harvest of cucumbers amounted to 568.2 thousand tons, tomatoes – 387.8 thousand tons, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov, Voronezh and Moscow regions, Krasnodar Krai, as well as the republics of the North Caucasus became the leaders in their production.
