Consumer prices in the Russian Federation for the week, from May 23 to May 29, increased by 0.08%, from the beginning of May – by 0.21%, from the beginning of the year – by 2.27%. This was reported by Rosstat.
From May 23 to May 29, prices increased: for granulated sugar - by 2%, chicken meat – by 1.5%, lamb – by 1.1%, boiled sausages – by 0.8%, rice – by 0.6%.
Prices for fruit and vegetable products decreased by 1.7%. Tomatoes fell by 10%, cucumbers – by 7.9%, onions – by 4.9%, bananas – by 2.5%. Prices for white cabbage increased by 12.2%, potatoes – by 4.5%, carrots – by 3.6%, table beets – by 3.1%, apples – by 0.9%.
