Consumer prices in the Russian Federation increased by 0.19% in the week from March 31 to April 6, 2026, by 0.17% since the beginning of April, and by 3.15% since the beginning of the year. This is reported in the materials of Rosstat.
Annual inflation, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, reached 5.95%. Prices for food products increased by 0.17% from March 31 to April 6, and by 4.97% over the year. Non-food products rose in price by 0.07% (+3.64%) over the week. Gasoline prices increased by 0.17% (+12.32%).
Prices for services (tourist, regulated and household) increased by 0.39% (+13.45%) during the week.
