The Sibai — Podolsk — Novorudnaya railway line is a project that will ensure the industrial development of the region, will be implemented with the participation of a subsidiary of VEB.RF – InfraWEB. The railway, which is important for the development of the Trans-Urals economy, will provide access to industrial facilities. In addition, the project will increase the transport mobility of the population and will contribute to the emergence of new jobs. This is stated in the message of VEB.RF.
The agreement on cooperation in the development of the Sibai— Podolsk— Novorudnaya railway line was signed between the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic and VEB Infrastructure Joint Stock Company on the sidelines of the V All-Russian Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals-2023".
The task of the InfraWEB at this stage of the project is to substantiate the feasibility of its implementation and to select the optimal state support measures necessary to attract extra-budgetary sources of its financing.
