Innovations in the environmental reporting system will be discussed on November 25 at the conference "NON-FINANCIAL REPORTING" in Moscow. The theme of the conference is "The formation of a system of environmental and socio–economic reporting in Russia and in the EAEU space".
A practical session "Climate requirements and environmental reporting: New realities" will be held within the framework of the conference. The panel will be hosted by Evgeny Schwartz, Head of the Center for Responsible Environmental Management of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Ecologist of Russia, independent Director – member of the Boards of Directors of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel and OK RUSAL.
During the session, it is proposed to discuss innovations in the environmental reporting system from 2023, prospects for improving the management and control and supervisory functions of the state in terms of environmental requirements, the economic benefits of switching to environmental management models, the law enforcement practice of preparing carbon reporting and issuing carbon units, and other important issues.
