KAMAZ cancels part-time working week

KAMAZ has canceled the 3-day working week in August, the press service of the company informed.

The decision was made by Sergey Kogogin, CEO of KAMAZ PTC, and the truck giant labor union committee given the sufficient portfolio of orders.

To recap, the incomplete 3-day working week for employees of the company's divisions could have been introduced in response to falling demand amid the spread of coronavirus.

KAMAZ is a Russian manufacturer of diesel trucks and diesel motors operating since 1976 (KamAZ). The company also manufactures buses, tractors, combines, electric generating units, mini thermal power plants and accessories. The company's main production facility is in Naberezhnye Chelny.
