Lhyfe, a pioneer in the field of renewable green hydrogen, has launched its first plant for its production in the UK. This is stated in the message to the company

A multinational corporation headquartered in France, Lhyfe is building a subsidiary in the north-east of England to identify opportunities to deploy production facilities to support the UK's ambitions to achieve zero emissions.

In 2021, Lhyfe opened the world's first plant to supply renewable green hydrogen produced using wind energy to customers in western France. The company develops more than 90 innovative projects throughout Europe.

Lhyfe already has subsidiaries in Germany (opening in 2020), Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden (2021) and Spain (2022).

In September 2022, Lhyfe will open in Saint-Nazaire the world's first demonstration plant for the production of hydrogen offshore, with an eye to mass production of hydrogen at sea. The huge offshore wind energy potential that the UK has, especially in the North Sea, is an important asset for Lhyfe.
