Magnit acquired a blueberry farm from Kolos Kuban LLC. This is stated in the message of the retailer.

Our own production will allow us to cover the needs of the retail chain in blueberries by a third in the future, the report says.

The farm is located in the Krymsky district of the Krasnodar Territory. In addition to blueberries, the company is engaged in the production of apples. The area of the fruit-bearing orchard is 155 hectares, of which about 73 hectares are in the berry orchard and 82 hectares in the apple orchard. In the future, the area of blueberry cultivation can be expanded by 57 hectares, to 130 hectares, and the apple orchard — by almost 50 hectares, to 132 hectares.

By the end of 2026, the blueberry harvest at the enterprise is expected to be 78 tons, which corresponds to about 12% of the total retail demand for this berry per season — in the summer months of fruiting. After the modernization of the asset, as the area expands and yields increase, this indicator is expected to increase to 31%. The first deliveries of blueberries from our own company are expected in June to the geography of the south and central part of the Russian Federation.

The volume of apple production in 2026, according to the company's estimates, will amount to 2.13 thousand tons, which will cover about 2% of the network's demand for these products per year. Our own apple orchard will allow Magnit to increase its expertise in these fruits, which will increase the efficiency of apple supplies from large and small farms using the agro-contract model.

To bring the company up to the standards of Magnit's own production facilities, it is planned to invest up to 1.4 billion rubles in the asset. The modernization provides for the introduction of new modern sorting and packing lines, a cold warehouse, and a gasification chamber.
