Maxim Basov, CEO and shareholder of Rusagro Group, has acquired a ca. 5% stake in Elementaree, a Russian food and recipe delivery service, from the company's first investor, Lawrence Lepard. The transaction price was not disclosed, Kommersant reported.
Elementaree founded by Olga Zinovyeva in 2014 currently delivers more than 100,000 meals a week in Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. The average weekly family set is RUB 3,000. in 2019, Elementaree earned more than RUB 400 million in revenues. In January-June 2020, the company expanded its business more than twice.
