The American multinational corporation Morgan Stanley plans to raise $4 billion to refinance the private debt of the IT company Kaseya Inc., controlled by Insight Partners. This is reported in a press release from Morgan Stanley.

The financing of the proposed transaction involves two tranches, including one loan of $3 billion and a second loan of $1 billion.

A controlling stake in Kaseya belongs to Insight Partners, which acquired the shares in April 2023 at a total value of Kaseya of $12 billion.

Investment companies seeking to reduce interest costs have entered the syndicated market, as direct lenders can provide borrowers with more flexibility, including cash payment functions that reduce interest costs.
