MTS and BelSU launch educational VR project

MTS and Belgorod State National Research University (BelSU) are launching an educational VR project on the study and use of virtual reality technologies in various social spheres. The program is implemented on the basis of software developed by Varwin, a resident of the 5G Lab incubation program from MTS StartUp Hub. This is stated in the MTS message.

As part of its work with startups, MTS not only provides minority investments from $0.5 million to $5 million through its own corporate venture fund, but also provides grants, the opportunity to promote the product to 81.1 million subscribers, as well as access to interested customers and external partners.

PJSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS, INN 7740000076), together with its subsidiaries, serves about 100 million cellular subscribers. The authorized capital of MTS is 199.84 million rubles (1998381575 outstanding ordinary registered shares).

MTS profit for 2023 increased by 67.5% to 54.6 billion rubles from 32.6 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 13.5% to RUB 606 billion from RUB 534.1 billion, adjusted OIBDA increased by 6.4% to RUB 234.2 billion from RUB 220.1 billion.
