MTS Group's net profit for the first quarter decreased by 72.6%

MTS Group's net profit for the first quarter of 2022 decreased by 72.6% to 3.9 billion rubles from 16.2 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 8.5% to 134.4 billion rubles, adjusted OIBDA - by 2% to 56.5 billion rubles.

PJSC "Mobile TeleSystems" (MTS, TIN 7740000076) together with its subsidiaries serves about 100 million mobile subscribers in Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan. The company also provides fixed-line and cable TV services in all federal districts of Russia and in Ukraine. The authorized capital of MTS is 199.84 million rubles (1998381575 outstanding ordinary registered shares).

MTS revenue under IFRS for 2021 increased by 8% to RUB 534.4 billion from RUB 494.9 billion a year earlier. Adjusted OIBDA increased by 6.9% to RUB 229.78 billion from RUB 214.89 billion. Adjusted net profit in the share of AFK increased by 0.3% to 31.84 billion rubles from 31.75 billion rubles, operating profit – by 5.4% to 118.69 billion rubles from 112.64 billion rubles.
