About 1,000 ha of new vineyards have been created in Russia since the start of 2021. More than 25,000 ha of new vineyards have been made in Russia over the past five years, the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
The total output of still, sparkling and liqueur wines in January-March 2021 increased by 6% year-on-year to 8.3 million dal from 7.8 million dal.
From 2017 to 2020, the Government allocated more than RUB 7.5 billion for partial compensation for expenses incurred to create and care for vineyards.
