Otkritie Bank has issued the first loan under the state support program for transport companies. The tranche in the amount of 1.3 billion rubles was provided as part of a loan under the program to support the backbone organizations of the transport complex. This is stated in the bank's message.
Otkritie Bank became the first credit institution to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on participation in the program. The program of support for the backbone organizations of the transport complex allows them to attract funds from banks to maintain their current activities. Preferential loans are provided for up to 12 months, the maximum loan amount for transport companies is 10 billion rubles. The government has allocated 16.7 billion rubles for these purposes, and the corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in April.
A preferential loan can be obtained by companies that are engaged in various types of transportation, leasing, auxiliary transport activities, etc. One of the requirements for the borrower is to maintain the employment of employees at a certain level during the validity of the contract.
