Passenger traffic on the Russian Railways network in January-July 2024 increased by 7.5% (to 727.8 million) compared to a year earlier. Passenger traffic in the suburban area increased by 7.6% (to 654.4 million), in the long–distance - by 6.8% (to 73.4 million). This is stated in the company's message.
In July 2024, 11.8 million passengers left Russian Railways stations and stations, which is 10.1% higher than in 2023. Including in suburban traffic, the number of passengers sent amounted to 102.1 million (+11.4%), in long–distance travel - 14.7 million (+1.7%).
JSC "Russian Railways" (TIN 7708503727) was established on October 1, 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways. The state owns 100% of the company's shares.
