Transport and logistics company PEC has acquired the business of Smart Logistic Group-Operating LLC (SLG-Operating), a 3PL-operator focusing on the warehouse services market of Moscow region, PEC informed.
PEC acquired the right of operating lease in respect of storage facilities (more than 50,000 square meters), equipment, personnel, and some of the client portfolio.
SLG-Operating's business was acquired in line with PEC's corporate consolidation strategy: the transport and logistics provider is planning a series of M&A deals in the next 18 months being ambitious to establish itself as one of the top 3 3PL operators in Russia in terms of financial turnover and double its warehousing capacity.
