Power Machines manufactured and conducted factory tests of a steam turbine to modernize the generating capacities of the Iriklinskaya GRES (Inter RAO – Electric Generation JSC). This is stated in the company's message
Steam turbine K-330-23,5- 1P, manufactured at the Leningrad Metal Plant (LMZ), which is part of Power Machines JSC, passed bench tests on a shaft-turning device in the presence of a customer representative.
The machine will replace the turbine to-300-240-1 power unit No. 4 of the Iriklinskaya GRES, released by the plant in 1971 and has exhausted its resource.
Due to a number of new design solutions, the technical and economic indicators of the turbine have been improved, the nominal capacity of the traditional serial "three hundred" LMZ has been increased to 330 MW.
The Iriklinskaya GRES is a power plant in the Southern Urals. The work is carried out within the framework of the federal program for the modernization of generating equipment of power plants (KOMOD). The power unit No. 4 of the Iriklinskaya GRES with a capacity of 300 MW has been in operation for more than 50 years, it was commissioned in June 1972. A comprehensive replacement of the steam turbine is planned at the power unit, as well as the replacement of the generator (outside the Commodore program). As a result, the electric power of the unit will increase by 30 MW.
Power Machines is an energy machine building company. It is a part of Severgroup.
Inter RAO–Electric Generation unites the Russian generating assets of the Inter RAO Group, with the exception of power plants in the Omsk, Tomsk regions and Bashkiria.
