Rosselkhoznadzor and the Russian Union of Tourism Industry have joined forces in the development of domestic tourism in Russia. The parties consolidated the agreements reached by signing an agreement on cooperation, as well as on the implementation and development of joint projects. This is stated in the bank's message.
Within the framework of the agreement, the Rosselkhoznadzor and the PCT will direct joint efforts to the development of rural tourism, the promotion of new tourist destinations and facilities, as well as the development of a network of operators in the field of rural tourism by attracting new partners. In addition, the implementation of joint projects is aimed at popularizing eco-, agro- and gastrotourism among Russians as an alternative to the usual resort recreation.
In May 2021, the Rosselkhoznadzor launched its Own platform. Out of Town", the purpose of which is the development of farming in Russia through the development of tourism activities. Rural tourism provides an opportunity for new farms to make themselves known. Already, more than 700 tours throughout Russia can be found on the platform, and on the eve of the holiday season and the May holidays, RSHB experts are observing a 4-fold increase in demand for booking excursions and tours.
The partnership with the PCT will provide an opportunity to communicate with the member organizations of the Union, which number more than 3,000 enterprises of the tourism industry in Russia, 29 countries of the near and far abroad, as well as with 19 profile associations.
