RusHydro and Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Plant have concluded a free bilateral contract for the purchase and sale of environmentally friendly electricity produced by RusHydro hydroelectric power plants. This is stated in the message of the parties.

The supply of environmentally friendly electricity from the RusHydro hydroelectric power plant will allow the plant to transfer about 30% of energy consumption to carbon-free sources, which will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in absolute terms by 100 thousand tons of CO2 equivalent in 2022 and will be reflected in the key indicators of the environmental friendliness of the company's business.

Bystrinsky GOK (the key enterprise of the Trans—Baikal division of Norilsk Nickel) is one of the largest greenfield projects in the industry, built in record time in 3.5 years in the remote area of Gazimuro-Zavodsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, 16 kilometers east of the village of Gazimursky Zavod.

PJSC "Federal Hydrogenerating Company - RusHydro" (TIN 2460066195) - unites 90 renewable energy facilities in Russia and abroad, thermal power plants and electric grid assets in the Far East, as well as energy marketing companies and research and design institutes. The amount of the authorized capital of the company is 426.289 billion rubles.

The net profit of PJSC RusHydro according to RAS for 9 months of 2021 increased by 3% to 43.9 billion rubles, EBITDA – by 5% to 75.8 billion rubles. compared to a year earlier. The company's equity increased by 2% to RUB 905.8 billion. Revenue increased by 9% and amounted to 114.7 billion rubles.

RusHydro's net profit under IFRS for 9 months of 2021 decreased by 13.3% to 52.44 billion rubles from 60.47 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 7.3% to 333.8 billion rubles from 311.2 billion rubles, EBITDA increased by 1.6% to 92 billion rubles from 90.55 billion rubles.
