Russian Railways is resuming passenger rail service with China and the DPRK. This is stated in the company's message.
With the introduction of the traffic schedule for 2024-2027, international trains No. 402/401 Suifenhe — Grodekovo of the formation of Chinese Railways and No. 645/646 of the Tumangan— Hasan connection of the formation of the Ministry of Railways of the DPRK resume running.
Train No. 402/401 Suifenhe — Grodekovo will run daily from December 15: from Suifenhe at 10:00 (local time), from Grodekovo at 17:43 (local time).
Train No. 645/646 with the Tumangan — Hassan service will return to the schedule on December 16 and will depart 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: from Tumangan station at 12:00 (local time), from Hassan station at 15:30 (local time).
Passenger traffic with China and North Korea was temporarily suspended in 2020.

Russian Railways' net profit under IFRS in the first half of 2024 amounted to 114.052 billion rubles, a decrease of 11.4% compared to the same period in 2023. The holding's revenues increased by 8.5% to 1.599 trillion rubles.
