The accumulated oil production of Slavneft-Krasnoyarsk Oil Company (a joint venture of Rosneft and Gazprom Neft) has reached 10 million tons since the beginning of the development of licensed areas located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This is stated in the message of Rosneft.
The oil from the Kuyumbinsk deposit lies in the oldest fractured rocks of the Riphean period on the planet, which are more than 1 billion years old.
A production complex has been created at the Kuyumbinsk field, which includes more than 150 facilities, including a central oil collection point, a receiving and delivery point, a tank farm, and 450 km of oil collection pipelines. Production is provided by more than 360 wells, most of which are horizontal. The oil prepared to marketable quality is transported to consumers via the Kuyumba-Taishet main oil pipeline and further to the Eastern Siberia—Pacific Ocean pipeline system. 125 km of roads, 240 km of power transmission lines have been laid at the field, and energy centers have been set up. Dormitories and shift camps have been built for the comfortable living of oil workers.
Along with the development of the Kuyumbinsk field, Slavneft-Krasnoyarsk Oil & Gas is conducting pilot industrial work at the Tersko-Kamovsky license area. High starting flow rates have been obtained at the wells.
