The American investment company Carlyle Group Inc. has attracted banks to conduct an initial public offering of shares of Acrotec Group worth 4 billion Swiss francs ($4.7 billion). This is reported in a press release Carlyle.

A consortium of banks comprising Bank of America Corp., Morgan Stanley and UBS Group AG are working on a potential IPO of Acrotec Group in the first half of 2025 in Zurich.

Negotiations are ongoing, and the terms of the placement of shares, including the cost, timing and composition of banks, may change.

Carlyle acquired Acrotec from Castik Capital in February 2021 and intends to IPO the company amid record high valuations on stock markets combined with relatively low volatility.

Acrotec is an independent company developing and manufacturing components for the watch industry, medical technology, automotive, aerospace, aeronautics and electronics. Carlyle is one of the largest asset management investment companies worth more than $147 billion. The company specializes in venture capital investments, high-yield debt obligations and real estate. The headquarters is located in Washington (USA) with offices in 21 countries.
