2.5 billion rubles have been allocated to temporarily closed airports in the south and center of Russia to compensate for operating expenses. This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers with reference to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The Head of Government recalled that in order to preserve the transport accessibility of Russian regions to cities with limited air traffic, additional trains and intercity buses have been launched.

Recall that the Federal Air Transport Agency has restricted flights to the airports: Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.

To organize the transportation of passengers to closed airports, Rosaviation recommended that airlines organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.
