In the first quarter of 2022, Russian banks issued 27.4 thousand mortgage loans in the amount of 186.3 billion rubles to borrowers in Moscow, and 21.3 thousand mortgage loans in the amount of almost 108 billion rubles to the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of the Central Directorate of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District.
In total, residents of the Moscow region received mortgage housing loans in the amount of 294.2 billion rubles, which is 0.6% more than a year earlier. The number of mortgage loans issued in the Moscow region in January-March of this year amounted to 48.7 thousand (a reduction of about 14%). The average mortgage loan in Moscow amounted to 6.8 million rubles, and in the Moscow region - 5.1 million rubles.
