Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the creation of new industrial SEZS "Novocheboksarsk" and "Khimprom". This is reported by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Enterprises of chemical, woodworking, food and other industries will work in the Novocheboksarsk SEZ in Chuvashia. Its residents will be five companies that intend to attract about 13 billion rubles of investments and create more than 1 thousand jobs.
The enterprises of the SEZ "Khimprom" in the Volgograd region will establish production of: methanol, acetic acid, bioproteins, chemical plant protection products and other products. Five enterprises have announced their intentions to work in this zone, ready to invest over 91 billion rubles in projects and create 837 jobs. The creation of a SEZ in the Volgograd region in the future will restore its position as one of the leaders in the production of chemical products, the report emphasizes.
