The Government of the Russian Federation has included additional land plots and sections of the water area within the boundaries of the Ust-Luga seaport, located in the Leningrad Region. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Infrastructure facilities will be built here to ensure the operation of a universal marine terminal with a capacity of 13 million tons of cargo per year.

In addition, an additional anchorage is planned to be built on the new territory, which will increase ship maintenance capabilities and improve the safety of navigation.

Earlier, the Government approved the creation of the Ust-Luga industrial production SEZ in the Leningrad Region. The total investment in these projects will amount to 2.2 trillion rubles.
