Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin approved the schedule of holidays in 2023. This is reported by the Cabinet of Ministers.
December 31, 2022 was declared a holiday. New Year's holidays will last until January 8, 2023. January 1 and 8 fall on Sunday. These days are postponed to Friday, February 24, and Monday, May 8.
Non-working days will be: from February 23 to February 26; March 8; from April 29 to May 1; from May 6 to May 9; from June 10 to 12; from November 4 to November 6.
