On February 13, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia decided to reduce the key rate by 50 basis points to 15.5% per annum from 16%. This is stated in the message of the Central Bank.

The economy continues to return to a balanced growth trajectory. In January, price growth accelerated significantly due to one-time factors. At the same time, the stable indicators of the current price growth, according to the Central Bank, have not changed significantly. After exhausting the influence of one-time factors, inflation will resume its decline, the regulator believes.
