The Bank of Russia in its letter recommended banks and non-credit financial organizations to take into account the life situation of borrowers who lost property as a result of fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Kurgan, Novosibirsk and Omsk regions. This is stated in the message of the regulator.
The Central Bank offers credit institutions acceptable options for debt repayment or even in special cases to forgive the debt on the loan and loan, as well as not to recover the mortgaged property. At the same time, restructuring should not be considered as a factor that worsens the borrower's credit history.
