In Moscow, enterprises in the automotive industry increased production by 40.4% in 2023. This was stated by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and land Relations, according to the website of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital.
In particular, the production of bodies increased by 30.7%, and components and accessories by 88.8%.
There are about 30 manufacturers of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers in the capital. To develop innovative projects and implement serial high-tech production, an intersectoral cluster of electric vehicles has been opened in Moscow, which unites 60 leading manufacturers of body parts, microelectronics, composite materials and charging stations.
