The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill enabling Russian VAT payers to apply a zero VAT rate when exporting their own goods outside the EAEU and its subsequent sale to foreign persons. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance.
The draft law defines a list of documents confirming the validity of the application of the zero VAT rate for such cases.
This legislative initiative is aimed at creating conditions for increasing the volume of exports of goods in the retail segment.
