The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury Department (OFAC) has issued a general license authorizing the sale of Russian oil and petroleum products. This will be announced on the ministry's website.
A general license has been issued authorizing the supply of crude oil and petroleum products from the Russian Federation loaded onto ships as of March 12, 2026. The permit is valid until April 11, 2026.
According to the general license, any transactions or activities related to Iran or goods and services of Iranian origin are prohibited.
