The Vostok Oil project has been commissioned in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was announced by Rosneft.
The first oil went through it to the Arctic Ocean, to the new terminal of the North Bay port for loading into a tanker.
The resource base is 7 billion tons of oil with a sulfur content of 0.01-0.1%.
Over 2,000 wells were commissioned at the project, for the construction of which a series of Russian-made Arctic Taimyr drilling rigs with a closed thermal circuit were designed and manufactured.
The Vankor — Payakha — North Bay trunk oil pipeline with a length of 790 km and a design capacity of 100 million tons per year has been built for oil transportation. Most of the route, 414 km, is made in a two-line design. A 6 km long oil pipeline was laid under the bottom of the Yenisei River, laid at a depth of about 50 m with a depth of up to 8 m into the river bottom in compliance with strict environmental standards.
A special protective dam has been built for the year-round operation of the port in conditions of ice hummocks. Over 2,000 frame boring piles with a diameter of 2.5 m and a depth of immersion of up to 100 m have been installed for its construction. The depth at the berth wall is 18 m, which makes it possible to ship oil to Arctic tankers with a deadweight of 120 thousand tons.
The port complex of the project includes an oil loading berth, two cargo berths, a portoflot berth and 14 tanks of 30 thousand tons each for the accumulation and storage of oil. 102 reservoirs are provided for full development.
The commissioning of the Vostok Oil project will ensure the shipment of 30 million tons of oil to consumers in the second half of 2027, and up to 50 million tons by 2030. Further development of the project makes it possible to increase supplies to the market to 100 million tons of oil per year in case of market demand and favorable economic conditions.
The project's energy supply will be provided by new grids and generation with a capacity of up to 3.5 GW, including 15 local energy districts, 16 power plants and 9 thousand km of power transmission lines. A wind farm with a capacity of 50 MW is under construction with the prospect of increasing to 200 MW. Wind power plants with a blade span of 172 m will make it possible to use the wind potential of Taimyr.
Over 50,000 people and 16.28 thousand pieces of equipment are currently involved at Vostok Oil facilities.
The total investment volume for the integrated project has reached 4 trillion rubles.
