The weighted average yield of NPFs on pension savings in the first half of 2022 was 1.7%, on pension reserves – 1.2%. This is reported by the Bank of Russia.

After a sharp decline in yields in the first quarter, the funds managed to come out in plus thanks, among other things, to the recovery of the bond market, where pension funds are mainly invested. In addition, the effect continues to be provided by a measure of support for fixing the value of securities, the regulator emphasizes.

Positive profitability for the first half of the year was shown by 27 out of 28 NPFs operating under mandatory pension insurance, and 35 out of 38 funds offering non-state pension provision services.
