VK's net loss under IFRS for the first half of 2026 amounted to 3.846 billion rubles against a loss of 12.67 billion rubles a year earlier. This is stated in the company's report.

EBITDA increased by 34% to 14 billion rubles, operating expenses increased by 9% to 67.997 billion rubles from 62.139 billion rubles.

Revenue increased by 11.7% to 81.04 billion rubles from 72.567 billion rubles. Revenue from online advertising increased by 8% to 48.6 billion rubles. Revenues from online advertising of large businesses increased by 12% to RUB 29.1 billion. Revenue from in-stream video advertising increased by 44% to RUB 4.9 billion. VK Tech's revenue increased by 35% to RUB 9 billion. Revenue from educational services for children increased by 26% to RUB 4.9 billion.

VK's total revenue from social commerce exceeded 2.2 billion rubles.

Foreign advertisers have increased investments in promotion on VK Advertising. Investments of companies from China increased 2.7 times and amounted to more than 2.5 billion rubles.

The Group capitalized software development costs and acquired other intangible assets with a total value of 4.346 billion rubles (a year earlier — 6.516 billion rubles).

The Group did not recognize goodwill as a result of business combinations. The Group recognized goodwill in the amount of RUB 214 million, and the group also recognized an outflow of goodwill in the amount of RUB 5.246 billion as a result of the establishment of the joint venture.
