Russian President Vladimir Putin extended until December 31, 2024 the decree "On the application of special economic measures in the fuel and energy sector in connection with the establishment by some foreign countries of the maximum price for Russian oil and petroleum products." The relevant decree has been published on the legal information portal.
In accordance with the decree, it is prohibited to sell Russian oil and petroleum products to foreign legal entities and individuals if the contract provides for the application of a price cap.
