Russia has registered the world's first vaccine for preventing the coronavirus infection, according to a statement by Sistema PJSFC.
The vaccine was developed by N.F. Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology. According to the pharmaceutical certificate, the Binnopharm pharmaceutical plant in Zelenograd operating as part of Sistema Group is the only production site for the vaccine in Russia, apart from the research institute.
Binnopharm plant (located in Zelenograd, operating as part of Alium Group) is an integrated biopharmaceutical production complex with an area of about 32,000 square meters.

IFRS adjusted net profit attributable to Sistema was RUB 53.4 billion in 2019 against RUB 1.114 billion a year earlier. Net profit attributable to Sistema was RUB 28.597 billion against a loss of RUB 45.898 billion. Consolidated revenue increased by 5.1% to RUB 656.9 billion. Adjusted OIBDA decreased by 0.9% to RUB 223.9 billion.
