The Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev and the Director for Interaction with public authorities X5 Stanislav Bogdanov signed a cooperation agreement. This was announced by the company.
The agreement is designed to combine efforts to implement the main directions of socio-economic development of the region, improve the quality of life of the population and improve the social infrastructure of the region.
X5 Group will continue to open new stores in the region, ensure their accessibility for low-mobility groups of the population, implement food aid programs and continue active cooperation with local producers.
The government of the region, within its powers, will support the development of retail trade, use the company's expert assessment and proposals in matters of state policy in the field of trade activities, hold events with representatives of retail chains and commodity producers to exchange information, as well as promote waste management activities. In order to implement this agreement, it is possible to create joint working groups to resolve individual issues.
There are 408 Pyaterochka stores, 13 Perekrestok supermarkets and three Chizhik hard discounters operating in the region. There are three X5 distribution centers operating in the Voronezh Region. To date, the company's work in the region is provided by about 5 thousand employees — residents of the region.
