Rosselkhoznadzor continues to facilitate the process of exporting animals abroad. On February 2, a special point of the FGBI "VNIIZH" was opened at Moscow Domodedovo Airport to assist in filling out veterinary and accompanying documents. Veterinary doctors of the institution will provide consulting support, which will significantly speed up the passage of veterinary control at the airport.
The set of documents of a pet directly depends on which country he goes to with his owner. Therefore, before the trip, it is important to study the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the country for imported animals, as well as to learn the rules for transporting animals of your chosen airline.
Before taking an animal abroad, it is necessary to install a chip, do all the necessary treatments and vaccinations, as well as issue an international veterinary passport and make the necessary marks there.
To do this, the owner must contact the animal disease control station at the actual place of animal maintenance.
You can pass veterinary control and issue documents both in advance (for example, if you are traveling by train or by car) and at the border crossing point – at the airport. For the first case, it is necessary to contact the Rosselkhoznadzor territorial administration at the place of residence. In the second case, the inspectors of the Service draw up the necessary documents directly at the checkpoint.
Rosselkhoznadzor pays great attention to optimizing the procedure for filling out documents for an animal in order to reduce the time to receive. To issue a veterinary certificate (including a Eurospravka), the department has developed a special online information system eCert.Pets, where pet owners can enter all the necessary data in advance. The system allows you to speed up the process of obtaining documents, helps to avoid mistakes when filling out, and also provides the opportunity to remotely make an appointment for the issuance of a document.
A point of registration of a full package of documents, including the necessary marks in the international passport, has been organized for animal owners in Moscow on the basis of an accredited laboratory of the Clinical Diagnostic Center of the FGBI "VGNKI". Here you can also take a test for the intensity of immunity to rabies in advance, if the destination country requires it (Turkey, Israel, UAE, South Korea and a number of others).
To transport an animal abroad, it is necessary to obtain veterinary accompanying documents (VSD):
- veterinary certificate form No. 1 — for transportation to the CIS countries;
- veterinary certificate of the Customs Union form No. 1 — for transportation to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union;
- veterinary certificate form 5a — for transportation outside the Eurasian Economic Union;
- Eurospravka – for transportation to the countries of the European Union.
