On August 20, on the eve of the tourist season in Thailand, AZUR air will begin operating direct flights from Sochi Airport to Phuket. At the first stage, flights are scheduled from August to mid-November with a frequency of once every 10 days and will be operated on Boeing 767 airliners with a capacity of 336 seats. The journey time will be about 9 hours. Ticket sales are open as part of a comprehensive product from the airline's partner tour operators.
Flights to Thailand, and in particular to Phuket, will be operated from Sochi for the first time. Direct flights will make the popular island in Southeast Asia more accessible not only for residents of Sochi, but also for other Russian cities. And due to the developed regional route network of the airport, passengers will be able to easily arrive from the regions of the Russian Federation and transfer to flights to Thailand at Sochi International Airport.
